Why America Needs More Supplier Diversity Programs
Noon – 2:00 PM
Join Maggie Anderson, author, speaker and activist in this business to business event about learning of the ways her family began a positive awareness campaign and sparked a national movement in support of minority businesses in her quest that the American Dream truly applies to all. Her message of self-help economics, strategic entrepreneurship and conscious consumerism will be defined and discussed from her own experience as detailed in her new book, “Our Black Year.” Her family’s experiment of supporting African-American owned businesses for one year would lead to personal challenges, landmark university studies and surprising statistics that confirm why America needs more measurable Supplier Diversity programs.
This event is being sponsored in part by The California Black Chamber of Commerce, The Empowerment Experiment and Polaris Meetings Group. RSVP Required to attend. Free.
